Transitional style

Transitional style is a marriage of traditional and contemporary furniture, finishes, materials and fabrics equating to a classic, timeless design. Furniture lines are simple yet sophisticated, featuring either straight lines or rounded profiles. The word “transition” means moving from one place or thing to another - this tends to be the most requested design style for the meshing of modern and classic elements, resulting in a cohesive design perfect for your Southern California home.

Coastal Chic

I used to think of “coastal” as a tacky Florida beach house with bad colors and way too many anchors and shells. So let’s set the record straight, coastal is not the same thing as nautical. And you can use shells, but with restraint. The coastal style is one of the fastest growing decorating styles, and it's decor reaches far from the view and smell of our lovely pacific ocean. Homes decorated in this style will include some the following: ocean hues and sun-bleached white, incorporation of natural materials and fabrics, no boundaries between indoors and outdoors, and a celebration of natural light. As organic as the ocean and as warm as summer sand, this design style brings a light, bright look to interiors. I’ve officially been converted to this love of a chic coastal design!
